In 2017, I was drawn to partner with The Aware Brand, captivated by its mission that resonated deeply with my personal ethos. This connection wasn't just professional; it was a reflection of shared values and a collective vision for transformative impact.

The Aware Brand stands as a beacon for those striving to elevate their self-awareness, the awareness of their community, and the awareness of the world at large. This streetwear brand uniquely marries contemporary urban fashion with a profound social mission, advocating for self-identity and conscious enlightenment. In every thread, every design, the brand encapsulates a narrative of empowerment and awareness.

In my role, I brought to life the essence of this mission through strategic branding and creative design. By maintaining a keen understanding of evolving streetwear and fashion trends, I integrated these insights into our brand campaigns and product designs, ensuring that our collections were not only aesthetically appealing but also rich in meaning and purpose.

Securing a partnership with Foot Locker in 2020 was a major milestone, propelling the brand into over 40 US retail locations and establishing a strong global online presence within the first three years. This expansion was a testament to the brand's appeal and the universal relevance of our mission.

 
 

At The Aware Brand, we ingeniously intertwine spirituality, streetwear, and personal expression in every design. Our "So Spiritual" campaign in 2022 was a testament to this fusion, a capsule that celebrated the diverse tapestry of religions. Demonstrating that, at our core, we are all humans connected by a belief in a higher power. This inclusive collection conveyed a powerful message—that in our diversity, we find unity.

 
 

In the fall of 2022, The Aware Brand embarked on its inaugural HBCU college tour. Rooted in self-awareness and self-love, our brand found perfect alignment with the mission of HBCUs. Through a 4-school tour, we not only expanded our message and brand but also spotlighted the impactful work these institutions do for our Black learners. The campaign, "My HBCU Is Where My Home Is," not only bears witness to our journey but also represents a limited edition of purposeful T-shirts crafted for each school we visited.

 
 
 

In 2023, I designed a limited capsule for the HBCU all-star game in collaboration with Minority Business Prospects, celebrating excellence and supporting our fellow HBCU students. Each collaboration is a fusion of creativity and purpose, amplifying our impact and contributing to positive change.
